My entry for the valentine art contest this year. Hope it wins. I had to add in some humor, or it won't win, since the creative staff is judging it on 25% artistic talent, creativity, originality and humor. I used my character Master Jellyroll Pepperpop (rolls of the tongue) and the cute cat girl with him is Sarah :3

I took a full week to work on it, drawing and inking and coloring relelntlessly (I think I drew like 22 cogs and the VP in the background) and I used prismacolors to color most of it. The background is done in diluted india ink to give the scene the feeling of being in the cogs' bleak, gray and boring world.

In case you're wondering, the birthday cake is the most powerful throw weapon in the game (like pies and cupcakes and such). Unfortunately, you can only carry 3 (well I can, for now). I decided to color the cogs in french gray and pencil, with the exception of the VP, done in silver and purple. I made some light effects too, so it looks like their eyes are glowing. Basically, you can see energy everywhere in the picture, whether it's that angry legal eagle shaking his fist, or the cat girl clinging to her hero, this drawing is one of my best works so far, and chances are, I'll probably win this year....... again.
